The White Widow Pens An Ode to Osama

White Widow

The world’s most wanted woman, terror suspect Samantha Lewthwaite (alias: the White Widow), is also a poet. But not a very good one…

The British-born widow, who was married to Germaine Lindsay, one of the three London transport suicide bombers, is wanted in connection with a 2011 bomb plot in Kenya involving al-Shabab, the Somalia-based militant group behind last month’s deadly Nairobi mall siege.

As the hunt for the White Widow continues, police found some unusual documents when they searched her former home in Kenya. While looking through her computer, they discovered a 34-line poem expressing her love for Osama bin Laden.

Oh sheik osama my father, my brother, My love for you is like no other,” the widow wrote. Go on….

Your life an example of how we should be.

Oh Muslims listen to our beloved sheik’s words,

Let not his struggle and efforts go unheard,

Revive what he started and strive to success,

Then maybe we can be raised with the best.

Al Qaeda are stronger and fiercer than ever.

Thinking in the end you are stupid it will NEVER

Be over until the day that we see our lands returned and

governed by He Allah the almighty, whose law is complete.

The poem goes on and on about Osama and Allah and Al Qaeda and then ends with a burst of emotion:

Theirs was no victory for Mr Obama, the honour is his on Martyred Osama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She must really mean it if she used 500 exclamation marks. Unfortunately her passion for Osama (and hatred for Obama) was overshadowed by her lack of spell-check and rhyming ability.

Meanwhile, Interpol is still searching for the White Widow after issuing a “red notice” alert shortly after last month’s terror attack on Nairobi’s Westgate centre. While she may never make it as a poet, she’s clearly an expert hider. I mean, how hard can it be to find a white girl in Kenya?
